Well After having seen the movie I can understand the concerns of some of the reviews here but in truth we are watching a movie because we want to be entertained not because it is a true story. Is this story beleivable? Maybe it has some plotholes and maybe these types of things just don't happen often in everyday life but they do happen. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie as a great suspense thriller. As a viewer I was totally relating to some of the events. For instance, the scene with slapshots to the face made me feel the pain /impact, the familly of kid kidnappers really made me feel anger towards child abusers, etc that unfortunately do exist in this world. Everytime I see a missing children's photo on a dashboard you can be reminded of what happens everyday of the streets. Paul Walker is undoubtedly tracing his path to become a first rate actor for the next generation. With his sex appeal in movies like Into the Blue and an appeal to cool movies like the fast and the furious, He may well have what it takes to hit the prime time but first he'll have to prove his acting chops in more serious, less marketable roles (aka take more risks) Either way, this was a very well put together thriller that is worth your time and cost of the rental.
