You know, buisiness is a harsh but necessary reality, without the competitive spirit, technology would not advance the way it does nor would our way of life continue to become better with our knowledge of health, etc. The point is Myranda (impeccably played by Meryl Streep) is the type of person that drives buisiness. Meryl Streep once again displays her extraordinary talent here. Anne Hathaway keeps the tension down in the movie by adding a little spark of comedic flair to everything she does... I enjoyed the movie very much for the story and the characters (from myranda, to the Gay Designer played by Stanley Tucci, to Anne's freinds, to the charming columnist that sweeps Anne away), everything just worked. I'm rating it an simply because 9 and 10's are for exceptional movies butin the realm of comedies... it surely deserves a 9.
