The Girl Who Played with Fire

Better than the overly long book because it focuses on the characters we care about rather than the police investigators we do not care about. The whole middle of the novel is about the police discovering what we already know about Lizbeth Salander. But this movie is not as well directed as the first. And the film stock is grainy and murky, like it was video-recorded off a TV screen in places.

Re: the grainy image. Apparently this was made for television.
