A good period piece with good character portrayal... apparently, at least unofficially approved by the royal family. This actually surprises me as I didn't feel that the film flatters the Royals... actually presents them (IMHO) as somewhat superficial. The film appeals to me because I am interested in the historical reference but this would probably be quite boring for those who don't know or care about the context. I also find it disturbing that actors playing handicapped characters are so often perceived as being brilliant for only that reason... a la Forest Gump... Rain Man etc.
