    The Rolling Stones: Gimme Shelter

One of the best musical documentaries about he British Rock group the Rolling Stones. In 1969 the Rolling Stones gave a free concert at the Altamont Speedway outside San Francisco. Unfortunately they used The Hell's Angels for security and the concert got out of hand causing the death of a young black man at the hands of the Hell's Angels. This documentary chronicles the concert and everything that led up to it giving the viewer an intimate look behind the scenes and the crazy decadent life of the Rolling Stones in their prime. With some great concert performances and a look back in time "Gimee Shelter" will not disappoint.
