This may as well have been a zombie movie for all the 'vampireness' of the 'villans'. Very gory, but most of the suspense is about how much blood the next victim is going to lose all over every place but into the vampire's mouth. Not a whole lot of brain power required here, just a sit with slack jaw and a bit of drool. Why a 7? It's supposed to be entertaining, and if you like gore and a new, stupider take on vampires, you might like this. As a note, the graphic novel is not any less violent. Not really sure how this benefits society. I left the theatre impressed with makeup and CG effects.
