OK well it's not a bad movie but not a great one either. Actually it was a potentially great movie that was just missed by a thread. Racism, the fragility of the human life and mind, love and compassion, they all seem to be intermingled in this unusual drama about life, death, love, tragedy, people, cultures, etc. Matt Dillon, Ryan Philippe and Terrence Campbell all deliver incredible performances to extremely interesting characters. Hip Hop artist Ludacris may surprise a few too. All and all, the all star cast along with a few interesting characters and twists in the storyline create a worthwhile movie with a few great moments but one that also fails to developp the interest of the viewer during the first half to three-quarters of the movie. Those viewers that stick around however will have their patience rewarded by marking moments. Recommended for DVD viewing.
