    Robin Hood

Well made, well acted, but only competently written. Saw Iron Man 2 on the same day which, in contrast, is full of wit and humor. This Robin Hood was simply not grim enough. No real sense of the daily grind and plain misery of life in those days. A minor movie by a skilled filmmaker.

Nice review... Your score might be high for my liking but well spoken.

Iron Man is comic-based - so I think we are comparing apples and oranges here. Funnily, a lot of American critics panned it for being TOO grim. One actually complained about Marion washing her feet. The village and plowing scenes were perfectly realistic to me.
