Will Ferrell has a pretty good track record as far as I am concerned. The man-child character that he always portrays is hilarious. Mark Wahlberg can be funny as well (e. g."The Big Hit") The crime that they are teamed together to solve is confusing (something to do with lotteries and a police pension fund) but it serves as an excellent backdrop for a constant barrage of one-liners, ridiculous situations, and well-orchestrated action sequences. Not Ferrell's best work, but not his worst either.
