I rented this movie recently and really didn't seem as impressed with it as I first thought I would be. With a great cast like Kim Basinger, Michael Douglas and well-known TV drama actor Keifer Sutherland I expected this movie to be power-packed with action and good suspense which it is, albeit of the same type of things we've seen before. With movies like In the line of Fire, that have done the topic with so much more flair, I see this movie as just another "plot to kill the president" movie with nothing to set it apart from the rest. Of course, Michael Douglas is also involved in an affair with a beautifull lady as he always is. All in all, if you've got nothing to do on a given night and you love these types of thrillers, then I guess it may be opk but otherwise, stay away. On another note, I was also fairly surprised that we didn't see all that much of newcomer Eva Longoria. As her first feature film since the desperate housewives series, I was also looking forward to see what she can do on the big screen.
