Nudity, drugs and profanity abound in Martin Scorcese's latest drama. It's a hard movie to judge because it doesn't really play out like a typical movie. The entire movie is really narrated by Leo with an in-your-face style that really puts you in the movie. You become part of an experience rather than just viewing a story. The experience itself is rather troubling. I have never seen as much debauchery on the silver screen. I mean every few seconds someone was either naked or doing drugs. Leo's performance was certainly over the top and quite astounding & intense. The entire cast of dodgy characters was great, most notoriously Jonah Hill as his partner in crime. All in all a worthwhile movie but be sure you know what you are in for.
