Now, I write this review with a warning : this movie isn't for everyone. What is to be commended is the storytelling and Reese Witherspoon's role. To go through a journey like that, the sense of freedom and liberation from 'life' and then to go towards finding self-love and love of life, and everything in between is truly Wild. That is in a sense what is being conveyed through this woman's story. Of course, the script is wonderfully written and Reese gives it a dimension of her own. You take part in her journey, feel all her fears, and experience all of her debaucheries until you find your way. This movie isn't for someone looking to be entertained for 2 hours. It's for someone willing to sit and listen to someone's story be told and perhaps take something away from it. I hope to see Reese in more movies of the genre or at least dable in such interesting roles.
