As this was the last of a trilogy, but first I had seen, Ben Stiller's characters were all new to me. The film opened with an homage to (blatant rip-off of? ) 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and dwelt in that surreal world throughout its length. Although seldom ha-ha funny it was generally entertaining, and the most enjoyable part for me was in identifying the array of current and former A-list stars that Stiller had created parts for. The CG effects were credible and gave the film its few moments of drama.
