This is a movie all about acting and then there's the story - and it's a sad tale. You would be particularly vulnerable if you are sentimental. Sets, costumes, et all play second fiddle but these items were excellent. The story is hopefully near accurate history; it comes across as such. So to critique this movie, it is all about the acting, Anne Hathaway's acting - it was good, sometimes very good, but sometimes mediocre. What's ironical is that the movie is not nearly as good as the most recent "Pride and Prejudice", Jane Austen's major work, starring Keira Knightley.
