Power corrupts. This movie incorporates elements from the "Where No Man Has Gone Before" episode of Star Trek, and also from "Carrie" and the final action sequence of "Superman II". The first part is from the point-of-view of a hand held camera and I was worried that it was going to be another one of those cheap, lost footage movies that I hate (like Blair Witch Project, Apollo 18, and Paranormal Activity) but, thankfully, this approach is soon abandoned. The story is initially realistic about what would happen if teenagers suddenly acquired superpowers, but the last 20 minutes spirals wildly. The acting and photography could have been better.
