I listened to the critics but instead I should have taken into account the low box-office grosses. Jonas Hill is a terrible actor. Russell Brand, if given well-written, funny material, can turn in a good performance- but this wasn't the case with this turkey. I laughed only once (when the musician said "I just beat the drums and give an 'African face' ") Even though this film is geared towards younger people, I saw several teenagers walk-out after only 20 minutes. They are usually an easy crowd to please.

I sorry to tell you but this movie was for a 18-25 crowd. Why? Because all the jokes and the celebrity in it have their own expression. If you don't know them or didn't like it's more a matter of knowledge about actors and musicians than taste ;)
