It is evident that the historical impact on Black History of MLK will never cease to be recounted, as it evidently should. I did feel that David's representation of MLK was perhaps not as intense and charismatic as I thought it should for such a poignant and remarkable leader. The supporting cast however doesn't fail. From the frustration of an elderly woman played by Oprah to Tim Roth, Tom Wilkinson, and appearances by Martin Sheen, Cuba Gooding Jr and the likes, talent was not what was missing. While I did enjoy the movie overall, it certainly felt somewhat uneven in pace, tending to loose its viewer, and lacking in terms of power & presence from its star character. Hopefully there will be many more movies about MLK to be seen. The "Glory" theme song is certainly a great way to exit this piece and keep alive the reminder of the past and establish our vision of the future.
