I actually didn't like this Narnia in comparison to the first. The first was especially magical. Something is to be said about my experience though. I went to see it in the new ETX format at the AMC and we were maybe 5 people in the room. No one seems to buy into ETX and to be honest it isn't especially wonderful. I thought it would be akin to IMAX 3D but it's nothing even remotely close. So perhaps an empty room and less than I expected out of the room played into my score (though I did see Tangled in the same theater and found the movie wonderful) So all in all, I guess that the movie itself was fine but lacked that magical spark I loved about the first, possibly because of the overwhelming darkness theme that surrounds the movie. Not bad by any means, but perhaps not as good as I had wanted it to be. ETX on the other hand, is definitely not worth the money.
