    Arabian Nights

Arabian Nights might be an old fashioned action adventure from Universal in the early forties but what we get is a substantive story created in real time and using colour cinematography, rarely used in the forties, to enhance the beauty of the story. The casting is near perfect headed by the very famous Sabu, quite nobly enabled by a further lead cast of Jon Hall who had created such a sensation in The Hurricane, Maria Montez of Cobra Woman and another young actor Leif Erickson who went on to some fame in the years that followed.
