    Hello, My Name Is Doris

A nice twist of a romance concentrating on an older, frumpy woman who becomes visible and desired, so to speak, when a thirty something year old man starts paying attention to her. Sally Field has a new great role in the character of Doris, a woman who has never had a real life or love in her 60+ years. It all leads to a stunning awakening. This film is a bit of a homage to older women/younger men romances such as Sunset Boulevard and Harold and Maude, a type of film that comes along only occasionally.
