This dramedy or more serious comedy has three great performances from Robin Williams, Jeff Bridges and Oscar Winner for supporting actress Mercedes Ruehl. It's a sad tale with comic bits thrown in and has us look the idea of helping one's 'neighbour' for a more redemptive life straight in the face. It's one of the few Terry Gilliam Films I can really admire. Most I can't tolerate.
