This old 'film noir' from 1951 is worth seeing if only for the presence of the original Italian siren, Valentina Cortese. 1950's studio stars Richard Basehart and William Lundigan add to the pleasure of this little known Robert Wise feature, one of his first as director. He started off in films as an editor.
