    Live Free or Die Hard

The fourth installment to the Die Hard series is much better than the second and third but falls well short of the mark when compared to the first. Gone is the originality of the plot, although the addition of the technological warfare of the computer age does make for some intriguing elements. I'm not sure why, but completely outrageous action sequences seem to dominate this movie which only served to pull me back from the edge of my seat and make me scoff instead of enjoy. To top it off, the main villain is completely unbelievable and comically unthreatening. Certainly no match for the charmingly ruthless character played by Alan Rickman in the first film. All in all, an entertaining movie, but time for the series to Die Now.
