Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Nobody jumps straight to the end of a series so of course I've seen them all. I was so excited to see this movie. That means I thought I knew what I was getting into. I was horribly mistaken. This script could be the worst script of all time, and I truly wish I meant that as hyperbole. Every 5 minutes something would happen that wouldn't just make you roll your eyes, it made you want to throw your food at the screen because it was so implausible, even in that world. You can't even just watch it for the FX because they were just average for 2017, and the action scenes were the "closeup/blur, smash, smash, things jump around and you can't tell what's going on/somebody wins... or do they? " type nonsense. For a zombie movie, there were no real scary parts. The whole "what's going to jump out at you" stuff was so predictable that I thought they were doing a spoof on the classics. This was an absolute abomination of a movie and I was excited when it ended because there's a difference between "turn your brain off and just enjoy the ride" and this pile of garbage. I wanted to give it a -7. I only gave it a 3 because I didn't see any wires they forgot to edit out, I like zombies, and I like Milla Jovovich and the Resident Evil series in general. I just can't believe the same people who did the first one did this horrorshow.
