Dragged myself to see this movie the night before it stopped playing because I am confused as to whether Edward Snowden is a hero, villain or a little of both. I left this movie convinced this young man acted out of deeply held moral convictions and patriotism. I also left with the feeling that my hero Obama has not done as much as he could have to right the wrong done to Snowden. I expected to be somewhat bored, but was anything but. The movie is well acted and gives the viewer insight into Snowden's character and personal life. Snowden in no way profited from what he did nor was that his intent. He gave up life in a country he loves hoping to wake a sleeping populace as to how much freedom we have lost due to manipulation and fear mongering. I hope many people viewed this important movie during its play here.
