3/10 What's the point! This movie was terrible. There was really nothing entertaining or interesting or new about it. Boring story, half-ass attempt to make a mystery. The writing was poor, the shots from cinematic stand point were okay at best. The pace of the film was poor. It just got stuck and never really brought it home. Many of the dialogues were not believable as fitting with the time period the film takes place in. This was a throwback to the 1960's-70's B grade mystery movies. Pretty boring stuff. Tarantino is the luckiest man in show business, more times than not, he puts out junk films and because of the media and fanboys in their weird need to like everything he does (Studio marketing budget... I guess) they make up a deeper inner meaning or watch the movie in a parallel dimension where it made sense... Meanwhile Tarantino laughs all the way to the bank (really tho only positive that someone makes $) But yeah... pretty boring movie. Boring movie.

Spot on. You could copy and paste the part in your opinion about the "fanboy(s) (who)... make up a deeper meaning" to most of the movies he has made and those yet to come and it would/will still be true. Happens a lot with other popular culture icons too, in music, television,... etc. I call it "no country for old men" syndrome after this one character who copied and pasted an essay he wrote about how intricate and deep the story was for the movie "No Country For Old Men" into the reply section of peoples ratings on this very site, 'proving' people who disagreed with him are wrong.
That's hilarious! Haha!
