    The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

I was disappointed - primarily because the first half (or more) of the movie was cheesy, long and almost unnecessary in many ways. The first hour and twenty minutes just sets up the next Hunger Games fight and you can really tell the movie was based on a young adult series as the writing just wasn't that good imo. I remember being surprised at the first movie and liking it but they got right into the action. Some of these characters are so one dimensional that I didn't really want to see them in their "Oscar scenes" lol. I like good character development but these scenes didn't have it. This movie doesn't have a true conclusion either as we'll have to wait for the third one. First half of movie - 5/10. Second half of movie 7/10.
