    Les Petits mouchoirs

Guillaume Canet is one of the most fine and admirable directors in France. Les Petits Mouchoirs has one of the best ensemble casts of the year. An innuendo between drama and comedy is how Canet mastered the movie. From being delighted to borderline depressed the characters of the movie are as well written than played by the actors. Seeing a lot of unknown faces in the cast with actors such as Cotillard and Cluzet made me rationalize, but with effective and brilliant performances by Magimel, Dujardin and Bonneton you forget everything and enjoy the movie righteously. There are little white mistakes in the screenplay now and then but on the whole with the director's admirable effort and the cast's resplendent role-play Les Petits Mouchoirs is a pleasant movie.
