I don't have any real musical talent but when I heard Sidney Bechet open this film, I became a joyous captive. For those who don't care for Woody Allen's humour or his outlook on life, that's ok. When his time comes, not too soon I hope, I won't miss him because I'll still have all of his movies on DVD. I only wonder which era he will prefer to stumble into.
