Vladislav "Slava" Fetisov born in 1958 in the middle of Perestroika period in USSR and now Minister of Sports in Russia was part of the 5 men line the most dangerous on the ice for opposing teams. In this documentary, we return to his youth and the way the Red Army team was run in the 60's, 70's and 80's as well as the social and political context it was evolving in. There are many interviews with former Red Army players. Though I'm not the greatest fan of hockey, I was able to see footage of really nice plays, without fist fights or excessive roughness, reminding me of the best years of the Montreal Canadians when they won 4 Stanley cups in a row. Hockey fans will like this documentary even more than I did, I'm sure.
