    Skyfall

A different kind of 007 picture with James spending most of the movie at home in London and his boyhood home in Scotland. Without the typical exotic locals and with Bond's troubled psyche on full display, the Daniel Craig version of the British super-spy has definitely become a more complex character with no time for martinis or bedding the ladies in between fighting super-villains and saving the British Empire. That said, the action scenes are explosive and Javier Bardem probably plays the creepiest villain to ever go up against 007. It's up to James to keep his boss 'M' safe from the Bardem character and keep his own sanity at the same time. The most 'troubled Bond' picture in the franchises 50 year history.
