Great cinematography and incredible lighting. Those are the only two thing even remotely redeeming about this movie. I'm done with Bond films as long as this reboot continues. James Bond is James Bond because of all the cliches we've come to know and love. Too many are missing or changed. At least he's kinda getting back to the ladies, but they even screwed that up. They officially announce the end of Q's gadgets, which made me sad/angry. It was a major part of the franchise. The second half of the movie could be any action flick and literally had none of the usual James Bond elements at all. I know they're trying to update Bond for the times, but they're failing miserably to the character true to it's deep rooted appeal. The box office loves these movies so they'll keep making them this way. I'm done though until they bring back what got us liking James in the first place. FYI, the bad guy wins. Literally. If you disagree, think about the ending and what the bad guy actually was trying to achieve. He did it. How stupid is that? They screwed up Moneypenny, they screwed up Q, and they screwed up the whole last part of the movie. Simply awful. The James Bond part I honestly think is about a 3, but the production was good enough to bump it up to a 5. At least it's pretty.

Click here to show this comment. Such bitterness! You obviously didn't find what you were looking for in that movie, but you treat it like the producers owe you something. They gave us Timothy Dalton, still you went to see the following movies... The story explains clearly why Q hasn't much to provide. For once, the writers have not created action to suit the gadgets. The girls have always been little help and big trouble. I don't miss them that much, since we never see anything anyway. As for the ending, yes, the bad guy got what he wanted. Is that so scandalous? For once, since that franchise began, the bad guy didn't totally screw up. Boo-hoo. If it can cheer you up, he didn't personally kill her.
