The suave charming almost campy life of Sean Connery's 007 has finally been put to rest for me, as Daniel Craig's Bond has little time for the joie de vie. Dame Judy Dench gets lots of screen time as 'M', and she & Javier Bardem add their considerable skills to the overall enjoyment of this film. The action is non-stop, the setting is dark, the editing is outstanding, and director Sam Mendes adds dollops of dry humour throughout.
