It is a much more personal insight on the protagonists than for the previous Bond movies. The traditional features of the series are still there meaning the women, the gadgets, the stunts, the exotic sites but this Bond movie provides us with a deepened psychological and historical profile of the main characters, which is refreshing to see. Daniel Craig, Judy Dench and Javier Bardem are playing the right notes.
