    Carol

    Reviewed by

The film captured the look of the sixties and the social mores of the sixties. The acting by Cate Blanchette and Rooney Mara was outstanding. The story was lacking something. The film came to an abrupt end. What Carol decided at the end of the movie did not make sense for her character. It is worth seeing for the acting and the look of the movie but the movie leaves you neither here or there with no particular feeling.

It was clearly set in the 50s.

I am 67 and have lived through the 50's and 60's. Early 60's and late 50's no difference.
