And there I was thinking in the wake of "Neon Demon" that 2016 couldn't possibly have another movie that would compare in terms of sleazo-arthouse. After seeing this delectably twisted treat, I'm pleased to report that I was wrong. Melding the best elements of Lynch and Sirk, this movie ratchets its discomfort levels to epic proportions. Like a perfumed napkin atop a mound of dreck. It's wonderful, disturbing and beautiful.
