Well, I can hardly believe that the Morgan Freeman has finally been given a non-pivotal role in a flick and his lack of having to play a "sincere" role shows a definite lack in abilities. Truly not very convincing... But I digress; the plot? Like a poor magicians version of Runaway Jury (2003, with John Cusack, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, and Rachel Weisz) which was far more enjoyable and believable that this laborious dragging exposé of magic tricks. We know that it's illusion, and the line at the end of the movie," Welcome to the Eye". HUH? And the carousel? Just more unanswered and unsatisfying items dumped into this movie to try to create a mystique that never matures. Leaves one wondering if it was worth the cost of overpriced popcorn and watered down soda to wash down the cost of the admission to this silly fluff'n'stuff vaporous waste of time. It's sure to be a big flop on your home TV no matter how big the screen is as this movie is barely palatable at the theater.

I totally agree with you. Remember The Illusionist or The Prestige? Those where 100 times more interesting.
