Why do people excuse poor movies by labelling them "artsy"? It's almost like saying: if you, the viewer, did not enjoy the movie it's because it was "over your head" or you are simply not creative enough to understand what the director was trying to convey. Artsy - schmartsy. I hated this slow paced, convoluted and sometimes vulgar story where not one single character was likeable - despite good acting. Sometimes you struggle to stay awake - this time I struggled to fall asleep.
