Coming-of-age movie of the John Hugues’ genre. I had the same feeling getting out of the theater than when I saw Breakfast Club years ago. Though the problems the protagonists are facing differ from those dealt with in John Hugues’ movies, they nonetheless are shaping the relationships of the characters. Somehow, the problems of back then seem very soft compared with those proposed by this movie though not that they didn’t exist back in the ’80 but they were more taboo. Excellent cast and scenario. I recommend.
