    An early Technicolor (1948) film, the refurbished movie is filled with a blaze of colour as well as sounds sourced from heaven. A package of first class entertainment, it's plot also pays homage to its origin, live theatre on stage. A beauty!

    You are so right! I love ballet, but I never took to this film!
