It showed a side of the Hollywood scene in the 50's and 60's not usually seen. It was interesting to see how well known actors were represented. Trumbo was not a likeable person. The acting was all right. Helen Mirren stood out as she always does. It was a tad too long and dragging in parts. The actors aged unevenly in the story; some aged some seemed to stay the same. The last scene where Mr. Trumbo is talking, the very fake looking moustache looks ridiculous like it would fall off any minute. It really ruined the whole scene. See it but don't rush.
