Shot over 24-hours, "St-Henri, the 26th of August" brings together some of the brightest documentary talents in Quebec cinema to make visible a day-in-the-life of a former working-class neighbourhood. Shot in cinéma-vérité style, "St-Henri" traces the diverse stories that happen side-by-side in the city, yet that often remain invisible to one another. St-Henri in 2010 offers a perfect microcosm of how time and change juxtapose themselves on an urban space and its inhabitants that is still deeply rooted in a vibrant working-class past.
