I can't figure out why people are commenting on this movie when they admittedly didn't like the first one and/or don't like raunchy humour. I don't like musicals, so I won't tell people that Chicago sucked. That would be weird. Anyway, this movie suffered a bit from picking the low hanging fruit (no pun intended) for laughs, but overall it was really funny. I read the reviews first and went into it expecting very little, but was pleasantly surprised. If you liked the first one, you should like this one. Novel movies that spawn sequels can't capture the magic of the first one because you already are familiar with the story, so be definition it's not novel anymore. Doesn't mean it's not funny. People had the same reactions to Ted 2 for the very same reason. They'll also feel that way about Deadpool 2. You heard it here first.
