One of the most intelligent scripts EVER. Haven't seen the first two, but it didn't matter. I would like to see them, though, just to pace the relationship from beginning to now. The writers have given real depth to the relationship of the central couple, with comparatives around them. Really well done - the time flies by, but it is draining to stay inside the characters. They are very complex.

Has this movie released in Montreal? Where did you go see it?
Do see the first two movies, if you enjoyed the third, we will also enjoy the other two. I have not seen Before Midnight but will certainly do. I can also say the scripts of Before Sunrise, and After Sunset were intelligent and the acting superb - they are available on Netflix.
I'm seeing this one very soon. The first one was good and very cute, but I LOVED the second. It is brilliantly scripted, directed and acted. A masterpiece I highly recommend.
