Definitely a must see if you are already a fan of Burton, Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz. An oscar worthy performance for Adams. Now even though I was drawn to the story told in the movie, I went and did my own research about the real Walter Keane. It seems that he had an enterprise of wooden puppets making with his first wife even before meeting Margaret... which could have in fact led to those big eyes children paintings... I'm not totally refuting the validity of Margaret's story or that she might have drawn all these paintings... but I still think that their success was the product of their work both together... he wasn't greedy from the beginning and this wasn't the purpose of him marrying her but I think that he fell in trap of his first lie. And the rest followed. Great acting all in all and I'm sure it will receive some oscar buzz.
