It was a formidable task to attempt to do this film and present it in a 2 hour-or-less format. I think this movie should have been AT LEAST 3 hours... Which would have added to the realism as we, the crowd, would also feel the effects of an impatient solitude, the powers of time... something the producer of Unbreakable understood, giving the later film a slow pace allowing us to engage with Bruce Willis in his uncertitude, his quest for his identity. This being said, Cast Away was good and could have been even better. Funny at times but not necessarily in an appropriate or realistic fashion. Déjà vu, that's for sure... But entertaining. Nice performance, as always, by Mr Hanks.
