The film tells the story of Javier, a shy Spanish doctor, who, on a business trip meets Angie, a beautiful Colombian dancer and owner of a salsa school. Unsatisfied with his life, Javier moves to Colombia, where Angie is working with her talented young dancers to audition to be a part of Delirio, the most famous salsa show in the world. Javier and Angie meet again and kindle an impossible romance between two cultures immersed in a world of salsa.
