This is not an odd British movie with the most illogical of a creepy, unhurried plot line.
But rather, the opposite to that sentence. Through the eyes of a genius filmmaker, Alex Garland in its entirety.
A director who has been long-time associated with tampering with scary stuff on his resume.
In any case, this Norway shot movie ended up really pushing itself out as a great film with each frame in detail.
There's not one humdrum moment in it with unique, gripping performances. Including one shiny robot who has more sense than anyone.
I'll acknowledge to you, I wasn't familiar with the small group of actors, but it didn't matter in this story of individuality in dark conditions, working as a team so to speak.
I didn't want this chilling movie to finish. It was too brainy, yet it was trying to frighten the watcher with its conducted sensibility on a successful outcome.
Success without flaw with simply watching it.
It really struck me as a friend of mine suggested it to me.
I had no idea about this new movie was even made.
I don't want this involving story to sound intellectual, as this picture shows a lot of skin. Yet, it's about being aggressive and strong, and not being loyal and needy.
Turns out, it makes it all so sensible with getting the audience not to take their eyes off the screen for a crucial minute.
This one thrilling movie is emerging as one of the best so far this year.
This movie is not what I imagined.
