I don't know why everyone has such a hate-on for this film. I found it sweet, in a way, and funny. Nothing is as it seems in a Coen Brothers film, and I did not expect anything predictable. There was definitely humour, and I like the way the storyline was juxtaposed amongst several films under production. It certainly was a joyful satire of Hollywood, and those that inhabit the centre of our movie universe. Whatever the meaning or intent, the object was/is to have fun, and I did. It's not a movie that makes a great mark, but it was entertaining.
