No, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" isn't as memorial and masterful as the first instalment, however, in this instalment Chris Columbus goes deeper into the story and especially deeper into the character of Harry. It's the decisive film of the series because as much as we already loved the characters from the first instalment, we become more acquainted with the characters in "Chamber of Secrets" with the amount of character depth in the content of the story and ultimately it triggers audiences to want to see more from these fascinating characters in other Harry Potter movies. In the end, it's no classic like the first instalment, instead it's more emotional from the easily relatable characters that we've only seen in two magical films, even though, at this point in the series, it's so easy to connect with the characters in the film that it almost feels like we've known these characters for a long, long time. As it's no masterpiece, it's a film that you should and shouldn't watch because once you do, you'll be hooked.
